Much like the APR, SCRIBE has reports to help users fill out some sections of the FPR. Sections that SCRIBE does not support on the FPR (to no surprise as they are the same for the APR) are Section I: Executive Summary, Section II: Narrative Information, Section III: Grant Administration Information, Section VI: Grant Budget Information.  You can find a downloadable version of the Final Performance Report here.

Section V of the Final Performance Report covers four data areas. Section V.3 covers:

3)  FAFSA Completion: Please complete the following table by identifying (a) the total unduplicated number of 12th Grade GEAR UP students served over the duration of your GEAR UP grant (including early high school graduates); (b) the total unduplicated number of 12th grade GEAR UP students who completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at any point prior to the end of your GEAR UP grant; (c) the total unduplicated number of 12th grade GEAR UP students who did not complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) prior to the end of your GEAR UP grant; and (d) if applicable, the total unduplicated number of GEAR UP students for whom data were not available or whose FAFSA status is unknown.

Xcalibur is currently working on the development of storing FAFSA related data in SCRIBE. When generating the FPR Section V report, you will receive the following message in regards to section V.3:

Until the development of FAFSA for the FPR report has been completed in SCRIBE, to report on FAFSA Completion, use Reports > APR Reports > Section V - Data Regarding GEAR UP Activities

This data is generated from the FAFSA Submission Date in a student's demographic profile:

To look closer at student FAFSA Submission, generate the following report:

Reports > Export with sensitive information > Student Enrollment Export

If after reviewing this report you find errors in the data you can update the FAFSA Submission Date field manually through the Demographic Tab in SCRIBE or updated through an import file.
