Much like the APR, SCRIBE has reports to help users fill out some sections of the FPR. Sections that SCRIBE does not support on the FPR (to no surprise as they are the same for the APR) are Section I: Executive Summary, Section II: Narrative Information, Section III: Grant Administration Information, Section VI: Grant Budget Information.  You can find a downloadable version of the Final Performance Report here.

Section V of the Final Performance Report covers four data areas. Section V.1 covers:

1)  Cumulative Course Completion:  Please complete the following table indicating the number of GEAR UP students from the 9th, 10th, 11th, and/or 12th grades in your final project year, which successfully completed the courses identified.

SCRIBE supports section V.1 of the Final Performance Report  by providing cumulative course completion in a table format much like this section on the Final Performance Report:

You can generate this report by followinReports > FPR Reports > Section V - GEAR UP Student Outcomes (Credits Per Term)

This data is generated in SCRIBE from yearly student course grades through the entirety of the grant (typically 7 years).

  • To look closer at student course grades, generate the student transcript report:Reports > Export with sensitive information > Student Transcript - Course grade

Course Completion is based on student Grade(s), Credit(s), & Standard Course for courses mapped to the corresponding courses mentioned in the above table. If after looking at the student transcript report you believe there are errors:

  • Check to ensure the course is mapped to a standard course
    • If the course name is Algebra I, the standard course field needs to be mapped to Algebra I. A blank in the standard course field will result in students who passed this course not to flow properly as completed.
  • Check to ensure the credits field for your courses is properly mapped
    • SCRIBE interprets the "Credits" field as how many passing grades a student must have for that standard course to be considered successful (Final =1, two stand alone semester grades = .5, four stand along quarter grades = .25)
  • Check to ensure the grades for the courses in the above table meet the "passing threshold" for your grant. If you are unsure what the passing threshold is for your grant, reach out to Xcalibur in a Help Desk Ticket
